Plan

This week I’m leaving the new microphone and software with Mum, to see if, with a longer time to play, we can get this microphone working at least as well as the previous headset version. I am spending today and tomorrow storyboarding the film, and preparing a narrative monologue for the introduction. I am playing with the idea of the dysarthric speaker partially narrating the film, with the speech subtitled in the style of a documentary. This could be used as a nice effect to introduce the dinner party scene, but I need to be wary of confusing the viewers by adding this second set of subtitles. 

After I get the microphone back on wednesday, I plan to make the executive decision to sew it in once and for all. Then I can continue to focus on prep for the film, my image (I’m thinking another public outing with the scarf is called for) and move ‘input’ site fully onto the windows laptop.
