How do I make typography hesitant?
I’m hopefully going to post a short animation later today demonstrating an answer. As I said before there’s been some doubt as to whether or not the wearer of the communication device would want / need to see the display (so for example, they can see when it makes a mistake) but I had always assumed that I would do a good enough job of ensuring the typography would look hesitant and not DEAD CERTAIN so that it appeals to the common sense of the person being spoken to, so they will only believe the subtitle when it seems to ‘fit’ with the context of the conversation.
